Spectacular Setting
Bald eagle pair, sitting on their perching/mating tree outside your back door. You can easily watch them from the large windows in the living room.
Eagle View is perched atop a hill with panoramic views of Mt. Edgecumbe to the west, Sitka Sound to the south, and spruce-covered mountains of the Tongass National Forest to the north. From April through September, you can watch an active eagle's nest from the north-facing picture windows.
Special Amenities
Eagle View is a quiet, spacious, 1,200-sf, two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with its own private parking, entry, and deck. Built in 2004, it was designed with comfort, convenience, and a carefree stay in mind. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room, and includes a washer-dryer inside the unit. You can keep in touch with friends and family through a high-speed cable internet service. Many extras included!

What is a vacation rental?
You rent the entire unit in a vacation rental, as opposed to a hotel or bed and breakfast where you rent each room separately. In our Eagle View Vacation Rental, you rent the full unit which is equipped much like a fully furnished apartment. So, it's like having your own home while you're away from home. Your family or friends can visit together during the day and then retire to their own bedrooms at night. Looking for a late-night snack? Just walk out to your own kitchen. No need to see if room service is available.
We provide everything from the utensils to pots and pans in the kitchen; you only need to provide the food. You can relax on the deck while grilling a steak or that freshly caught fish on the barbecue. (Don't want to cook? No sweat! There are many restaurants in town that deliver.) Regardless, you can relax and gaze out at the great view from the comfort of your fully private back deck.
At our vacation rental, you don't even need to meet the owners (although we're pretty nice folks). At Eagle View, your entry and driveway are also private.
Once you stay at a vacation rental, you'll have a hard time going back to just a hotel room!
